This blanket is called “Variations on a Theme” because as I worked on stitch swatches, I found myself wanting to create many variations of one basic stitch pattern just to see how far it could go. It’s a stitch sampler blanket using many of these patterns.
Here are all the CAL posts:

I am loving this! I started out thinking I would do two different afghans at the same time but ended up doing four! lol. The patterns are so quick and easy and beautiful. Can't wait to finish!

I have also thought of doing more than one afghan at a time! After Christmas I started my first scrap afghan from an old pattern in my collection. My New Year's resolution was to clear out my stash before buying any more yarn this year. So, thanks to Carolyn for helping me in my goal!

I've just heard about this and will catch up with my squares tonight and join y'all!
I love Carolyn's designs and have several of her patterns.
This sounds like fun. I can hardly wait to get started!

Love this square too! Showed both squares to my DH and he said – oh they look the same. I tried to explain the differences and well – what's the point? I love this CAL! Keep up the great work. Waiting with bated breath for number 3.

waiting…waiting…waiting…

Any idea on how many squares there will be? I'm using them to make a throw for the end of my queen-sized bed. Wonder if I should start on some duplicate squares to use to make a nice big afgan. (That would help me wait for #3 too!)
