Roll from beginning of row 2 so that large petals end up on last round of rose. Roll up so that rose is formed; thread tapestry needle with yarn end and stitch back and forth across back of rose to secure.

i wish it was in childrens sizing. Most all my sales are for children. Never make adult size hats.

You can make it a child hat just search for a simple pattern of DC for child suze and do that then when its time to do the shells just follow the pattern after the increases. Hope this answer helped you.
