Misty Morn Scarf

Misty Morn Scarf 2.jpg

Sometimes you just gotta make a scarf! No matter that it’s 94 degrees outside. Ever since  I did the post on the V’s and Blocks stitch pattern, I knew I wanted to make a scarf with it. This one will show up again come Christmas time, for sure. I love the subtle color changes of the Misty Morn colorway in Knitpicks Chroma Worsted, but any yarn with appropriate hook size will work beautifully for this scarf. Just chain a multiple of 10 plus 5 to achieve about 7″ in width, and work until piece is about 70″ long. It would be absolutely great in sock yarn with a smaller hook.

About 300 yds. Knitpicks Chroma Worsted (about 1½ 100g/198 yd. balls) in colorway Misty Morn

Gauge is not critical. Use hook size to achieve a nice drape.

  1. Hey there. When I saw this scarf, I knew I have to try it…and a few hours later it’s already done! Amazing. The yarn I chosed … well, it isn’t really beautiful but it wouldn’t be the last time I made a scarf with this pattern 😉 Thanks!

    1. You are fast, Lady D! I am so glad you enjoyed the pattern. I want to make some more of these too, I just love the stitch pattern. I think what makes it work up so quickly is you are working into chain loops or spaces instead of into stitches. Thanks for your comment!

  2. Hello Carolyn,

My name is Carolyn also. Question. Where can I get the yarn you used for this Misty Morn scarf. It is beautiful.

    1. Hi Carolyn,

I ordered the yarn from Knitpicks.com. The Chroma Worsted comes in a number of really lovely colors. I hope you will give it a try.
