    1. Thank you. I’ve only made a couple blankets, and they were the continuous round and round type. I’m looking forward to your post on joining.

  1. Carolyn, thanks so much for taking the time to write out the patterns for the various sizes. I hope to make quite a few of these as gifts. Your work is beautiuful!

  2. Thank you for making this available to us. It will be useful for many projects besides this one. You do such lovely work – I always look for your patterns on Pintrest. Thanks for sharing so much information/ your knowledge with us. It means a lot that you and others like you are willing to teach the rest of us. I really appreciate it, because I know it takes a lot of time to make that happen.

  4. I want to thank you for taking the time and figuring out where to put what square on the different sizes. It would have taken me a week and still not look as nice as what you have done. Thanks again.

    1. You are most welcome Aurelia! It did take quite a bit of time but really is such an important part of making this blanket as enjoyable and stress-free as possible! Thank you for your kind comments. <3

  5. found this a little late but enjoying it. So far, have first 3 squares done. Wondered if the plain square in between starts with a ch 5 (or magic loop), join with sl st, ch 3, 2dc,( ch2, 3 dc), Repeat area in () 3 times… wanted to make them as i complete the others. Thank you!

  6. Beautiful afghan Carolyn! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Do you have a process for setting up placement for these enlarged afghans? Would you consider doing a tutorial showing the process? there are so mant things that come into play- color, pattern, stitch combination, etc.- the process can be hard to work through. I usually have to take photocopies of the pattern, cut it apart, and play with the pieces till it is acceptable. I’m sure you have a much better process, if it is something you can share (obviously, you can share something that is private or propriatal!) Thanks again!

  7. Thank you for making directions for different sizes. I was wondering how to upsize it. The colors you chose are delicious.
